The Patriot Conspiracy After months of accusations and the possibility of a Senate Judiciary Committee being called in to investigate the the New England Patriots, we're now that Spygate is Over? This is completely unacceptable! On his May 14, 2008 broadcast, Colin Cowherd on ESPN's "The Herd" challenged those conspiracy theorists who disagreed with the way the NFL is handling ... check that, concealing the New England Patriots SpyGate abomination, to set up a website entitled "TinFoilonMyHead.com" to voice our opinions. That's precisely what this is. If you object to how the current administration is rolling over for the Mighty New England Patriots and their asterisk, asterisk, asterisk, multiple championships. If you find it peculiar that the NFL has destroyed the Spygate tapes and levied penalties before seeing all of the evidence. If you're of the opinion that bending or misinterpreting a set of rules that are followed by every other team in the National Football League is the definition of the word cheating, let your opinion be heard. |

Clearly this site is the brain child
of an astute mind. We the fans of the NFL shall no longer stand quietly
while these soulless charlatans attempt to fleece the American public.
Is this what our beloved national pastime is becoming? A haven for
cheats and liars? Have the t.v. contracts, stadium licensing deals, and
endorsements become so large that Roger Goodell will not risk a larger
scandal at any cost? If you don't believe that Matt Walsh was hustled into some smoke filled back room and paid handsomely to destroy the smoking gun.... the St. Louis Rams tape, then you probably don't believe that the government is testing airborne delivery methods for bio-chemicals in commercial airplane contrails. Oh how wrong you would be!! Matt Walsh was paid hush money!! The ear marks of cover up in this case are too numerous to count. Only if we the people stand up and demand that Arlen Specter be allowed to conduct an independent investigation will the truth be revealed. Bill Belichick, Tom Brady, Robert Craft...these men are the architects of one of the greatest crimes ever perpetrated against the American public. These men have successfully stolen THREE SUPERBOWLS!! They almost stole a fourth.... We must stand vigilant, we must not let these crimes go unpunished. So to whoever it is that started this website. I would grow some eyes in the back of your head...The NFL will stop at nothing to make this go away, look out for the men in black they'll be paying you a visit soon.... |

The Patriots cheated, and
the advantage they gained is indisputable. This
is a game won and lost by inches, success is a microsecond away from
failure. If spygate wasn't such an advantage why would tapes be
destroyed? Why would the Patriots go to such elaborate levels to
continue this process? It's made a coach, a QB, a team, it's the reason
scrub after scrub can fail in so many other situations but magically
succeed in New England. The NFL wants this to go away. Sorry NFL,
Americans lost millions gambling on what they thought was an uncertain
outcome, millions pissed away hard earned dollars watching what they
thought was an unbiased game. Football is America's pastime and the NFL and it's senior leadership have permanently
tainted it for all of us. As we speak I'm sure the Patriots are coming
up with more ways to misinterpret the rules. How can any fan be
confident this isn't happening as I type. Light up the fire place Rodger

The NFL is not only
scripting every season, they are also prying into lives with their 'NFL
Network'. NFL 24/7? More like "keeping tabs on you 24/7"! I firmly
believe that not only did the NFL rig the SB to allow the Giants and
Manning to win (biggest TV market .... hello!!), they also conspired to
have the Dolphins lose all those games last year so that Bill Parcell
(NY connection) can be a hero once again. By propping the Tuna as a
savior in South Florida, the NFL can build up the lost market in South
Florida and take advantage of that large Hispanic market (the further
globalization of the game). |

The NFL is doing what
everyone with a brain expected them to do. They are protecting their
product buy attempting to sell it to the fans that the Patriot's
championships are not tainted and the game maintains its intergrity. The
truth of the matter is that the game does not maintain its integrity
because it is clear that officials in the league favor certain players
and teams in the league. It is also apparent the league believes the
average NFL fan is an idiot, just like Roger Clemens beleives his fans
are idiots who will believe anything he says, the league thinks they can
sweep this crap under the run and the fans will just take their word for
it. C ome on, did you really expect the league to "discover" new
information after talking to Matt Walsh. The league had no intentions of
"uncovering" new information, and that is exactly what happened.
Although I disagree with how the NFL has handled this scandal, I really
didn't expect them to handle it any other way. It's professional
football, it's about the money. A wise man who writes for Jaguars.com
told me that. Don't every forget it. |

So all you believers in
the conspiracy, I have a few questions. First, where's your outrage
against the New York Jets. I assume you read ALL of what Walsh told the
Commish and would know that he stated the Jets were caught doing the
same thing. And what about Phil Simms comments how in a 1980 and
routinely his teams were aware of every single call from the opposing
defenses. And all the former players who refuse to speak out on Spygate
because it is well understood that in the NFL signals are stolen all the
time. The NFL conducts itself like foreign countries at war. Certainly
you don't think the USA was cheating by deciphering Japan's codes in
WWII. Point is, this is routine for the NFL and there is a mountain of
evidence to support that theory ranging from former players and coaches
to the silence of the current players and coaches. Certainly much more
evidence than there is to support this cause. |

First of all, to whom
this may concern, how hard do you think it is to steal a signal? As
someone who has actually played sports in highschool and college, I can
tell you it is very difficult. I have always been told to watch the
third base coach in baseball to see if there was a pattern in his
signals, never could find one. Does everyone do it, yes. Is it wrong,
no. It would be wrong if the coach did not try and conceal his signals
to the best of his ability. About the Pats, don't you realize that it is
completely legal to have video cameras at the game in designated areas?
Do you honestly believe that if the NFL confiscated every video tape
from e very NFL team that there would not be things there that could be
considered cheating? How many coaches have come out to say they have
tried doing the same thing the Pats got busted for? Its part of the
game. Its crappy, but it is what it is. My conspiracy is that the Pats
did this on purpose because so many teams were video taping them and
they wanted to put a stop to it, because when you are the best, you
become a target and teams will do anything possible to beat you. Is it
really possible, is it even logical that a person can decipher hand
signals and the called defense over the course of one half of football
and be able to implement this into the offence during halftime. That
certainly is asking alot of someone or a group of someones, who probably
have other responsibilities over the course of a game. What happens if
the other team changes their signals for the second half? The Pats say
they never used the tape footage during the game, that they used it for
prepa ration for the next game, which they interpreted as being legal
because legally taped video footage cannot be used the day of a game
(NFL rule). It is not very hard to be able to jump to the conclusion
that the rule implies that video footage of coaches signals is never ok
to use in any game, but it was not clearly stated and the Pats tried to
take advantage. It is clearly not a great advantage because of the
difficulty of deciphering the signal and coordinating defensive play and
even if the pats were able to decipher this by the next time playing a
team, that team could have easily changed their signals, if they had a
smart coach they probably did. Mat Walsh got fired, could not find
another job in the NFL because he has no football knowledge, and is now
an assistant golf pro. This guy has never had any credibility and never
will have any credibility. Are you guys serious about wanting Spector to
head an investigation in the NFL? If you want a conspiracy look no furt
her than into his agenda. Why is he crying foul so loudly? Why is he
focusing so much on diverting peoples attention away from serious issues
(Iraq, where's bin laden) to a game? That sends a red flag up for me.
The only smoky room Walsh attended was the one with Spector and the
lawyers assigned to Walsh by Spector, period. Walsh just had no
credibility, it would be smart if Spector just let this go away, but he
obviously wants to end up in politcal obscurity. Let him, thats ok with
me. The only conspiracy worth discussing is the governments involvement
in 9/11, everything else is just a waste of time, but what do I
know---I'm a Saints fan! |

I find it interesting as
this story continues to roll along, that more and more support staff are
coming forward to kick the Patriots in the groin and get their shots in
while they can. Matt Walsh was what, their reserve third camera man on
the crew? What kind of clout does that guy have? Is he
happy now with his 15 minutes of fame? And Ross Tucker was a backup
offensive lineman who's completely out of the NFL and currently writing
for ESPN. Now THIS guys wants to come forward with allegations
that Belichick routinely practices athletes placed on IR to reduce their starters reps and give younger players some valuable
experience? It's obvious that Belichick is not above bending the
rules to gain a competitive advantage in anyway he can. Some would say
that's good, solid strategy. Ask for forgiveness rather than for
permission ...
I think at this point, with the NFL on hiatus, that the Spygate conspiracy is the only story worthy of making NFL headlines, selling NFL papers, keeping the NFL sportswriter gainfully employed, and of course keeping the NFL at the forefront of American sports-talk. Following this Spygate story is like watching a train wreck, you're so sick of it that you can't be bothered, but at the same time it's so mesmerizing that you can't turn away. Have never had a problem
with stealing signals. As Ronny Jaworski would say, it is a skill set in
itself. "Code breaking" has been a part of strategic 'engagements' (on
playing and battlefields) for generations. It has been tacitly accepted
or at least reluctantly condoned in most team sports since 'rules' are
formalized. As humans we are bound to push the limits of what binds us.
The Patriots got caught. They had a pick taken away. If more evidence
emerges, hit them again for another first rounder. But the whole notion
of putting an asterix for their carelessness/stupidity, is excessive. |

I have a few simple
questions. Why in every NFL game, does every team, whether they are
playing the NE Patriots or not, have multiple coaches signaling in the
defensive plays? Why have they been doing that for the last couple of
decades, at least? Was this "brushed" under the rug, even Arlen Spector
has dropped it, because Goodell doesn't want it to become apparent that
every team in the league was doing it? Is this why no other coaches or
players, except Dungy (probably the only one not doing it), has had no
comment on Spygate? Is envy reason enough to single out one team and
attempt to make them the scapegoat of the league, for something that
nearly every team in the league has been doing since the NFL's
inception? Keep hating, we like it that way; take your head out of the
sand and get real. |

The patriots are guilty
of the same thing any other NFL team is. To be able to have a
significant impact on a game you need more than a signal from a sideline
coach. And with how teams use audibles in the NFL it would really be
impossible to read anything significant and be able to communicate it to
the rest of the team before the ball is snapped. Other teams were doing
the same thing except not winning, so it wasnt important. Now the
conspiracy theorists need some reason to believe the patriots aren't as
good as they are. Take a look at the roster from top to bottom. Thats
why the patriots are the best. They just lost Samuel and I'll bet by the
end of the season anyone who watches the NFL will be able to name the
patriots defensive backfield. They just have better management,
recruiting, training, preparation and more desire to win than any other
NFL team. Selling out every seat in the house isn't enough for them. Any
one who talks down on the patriots franchise is bitter that they're not
wearing the jersey. Asterisk my ass... hippies. |

To all the people who say

superbowl wins were? As for the whole cheating thing- it's a joke. They
stole signals. That much we know. What they did with them, and to what
degree they helped, are still unknown. But the last time I checked, no
QB has ever thrown for more TD's in a season than what Brady just
did(and they clearly weren't stealing signals with the whole world
trying to catch them again), and they scored more points than any team
in NFL history. If they really suck that bad, find a reason to argue the
numbers. The Giants were the better team on one night in February, and
the Patriots were the better team for 6 months prior. When you all get

Whatever happened to good
sportsmanship? Did your Little League coach teach you to sneak over to
the other team and eavesdrop when the opposing coach was going over the
signals for "Bunt", "Steal", "Take the Pitch", etc? Your thanks for such
ingenuity from your coach would have been as follows: "Son! Go home!
Come back when you learn to play by the rules!"
However, Bill Belichick decided the
rules were for the other teams, not the New England Patriots. And,
apparently, the NFL agrees with him. Little Leaguers now are getting the
message that it is okay to cheat, even if you do get caught. Is this the

Why would the Patriots go to such elaborate levels to continue this process? everyone with a brain expected them to do. They are protecting their

championships are not tainted and the game maintains its intergrity. The
truth of the matter is that the game does not maintain its integrity
because it is clear that officials in the league favor certain players
and teams in the league. It is also apparent the league believes the
average NFL fan is an idiot, just like Roger Clemens beleives his fans
are idiots who will believe anything he says, the league thinks they can
sweep this crap under the run and the fans will just take their word for

"uncovering" new information, and that is exactly what happened.
Although I disagree with how the NFL has handled this scandal, I really

because it is well understood that in the NFL signals are stolen all the
time. The NFL conducts itself like foreign countries at war. Certainly
you don't think the USA was cheating by deciphering Japan's codes in

finals, that every playoff series in every sport from here on out will
go to 7 games for revenue reasons, and that Bud Selig is injecting A-rod
with steroids so he can become the next home run king. |

I am just personally
grateful that Arlen Specter has solved the Economic woes of this
Country, and both the Gas and Housing crisis that are facing all
Americans at this point in time...how else can you explain why a Senator
that is elected to office in order to participate in the running of the
Country has all this free time to spread his name all over the media to
deal with issues related to Sports Entertainment. In his words, "There
is no limit as to what you can do. I think they owe the public a lot
more candor and a lot more credibility." These should be directed to the
Senate and the rest of the government... Hey Arlen, Comcast says thanks
for taking on the NFL and that the check is in the mail. |

lamentably, even though
you are being facetious, much of what you said is true and are ongoing
conspiracies. the largest one of all is the obama fraud. clear thinking
americans, which seem to be short supply, must question what is
happening. a half white and half black man comes along, raised by a
white mother who must have dealt with major resentment for having a
black baby. he was raised with that resentment, goes to church for 20
years hearing anti-government and racist comments every sunday. now he
distances himself from that rhetoric. do we really know who he is? what
unseen powers are providing overwhelming financial support and what do
they exp ect in return? every sunday |

Football is a sissy sport
where you wear pads and stop ever ten yards. There would never be any
cheating like this in soccer. The Patriots should be suspended forever
and Bill Belichek should go to jail. Look at all these losers. Colin
Cowherd is a retard that wouldn't say anything to anyone's face because
he is scared punk. |

Patriot haters are
nothing more than a bunch of dung beetles... M. Walsh is a total weasel
who hid these fake tapes for years now suddenly 2 days before the
Superbowl, he breaks out with them.... The Pats did not cheat, nor have
they ever cheated, nor will they ever cheat.. GO PATS! |

Yes I admit I video taped
practices. But so what. What grown man doesn't enjoy watching other
grown men run around in tight pants? Is that a crime? Sure I may have
taken video of coaches, but some people are into that. Soemwhere there's
a guy getting off to old men in cut off hoodies. I don't mind one bit.
That's what my web cam customers want, that's what they get. |

Um... Um... I confident
that the NFL has handled this issue with the utmost of propriety. They
have sought to discover any and all evidence of malfeasance. I'm sure
when its all over New England will be awarded the 2009 Lombardi Trophy
for another near perfect season. Congratulations. |

You are all missing a
very important point in this whole thing, Why did the Rams allow a
Patriots video guy into the practice in the first place? Maybe it
is not a conspericy but just stupidity.. |

You guys are morons with
out anything better to do. I bet most of you are Raider fans to. This
kind of crap is what gives sports a bad name. Go get a job and let the
rest of us enjoy the sports we love. |

This goes far beyond spygate, all the way back to 1960 when the Boston Pats were a new team, and the Bush family still lived in new england. Attending the infamous "tuck rule" game in 2001, where a rule was made up on the spot to give the Patriots the win, was GHW Bush, sitting in Robert Krafts box. I recall the news talking about the heightened security, almost Gestapo style with machine guns and dogs. I won a trip to superbowl 36 (the only superbowl that the original logo was changed to the winning teams colors) and a few weeks later, was flying to New Orleans to go to the game, and in Atlanta, Air Force one landed to pick up Neil and Jeb, held us up on the tarmac for an hour. When we arrived in new Orleans, same drill. As soon as I got off the plane, I knew the 14 point dog Pats were gonna win that game. The entire city was covered with Pats gear, and no Rams merch to be seen anywhere. Turns out that at the game, the entire Bush family had a box (with Gerald Ford),at a superbowl that was considered the highest terror threat in American history, watching Kurt Warner throw the ball to the turf untouched for a fumble, and later an int for the loss. First time I ever recall a President not calling the winners locker room from the White House after the game, I guess he just walked down there. I also noticed the confetti cannons were preloaded with Pats colors before the win ~and, the superbowl section in that Sundays Times Picayunne was from the Boston Globe. Fast forward 2 years, and the week of superbowl 38, when every other player was practicing for the impending game, I see Tom Brady at the state of the Union Address, sitting right beside Laura Bush. This superbowl ended basically with John Kasay kicking the ball out of bounds, something that I as a Panther fan had never seen him do in the entire 9 year existance of the Panthers, and after he does it, stands there with a huge grin on his face, like he had just got paid. The patriots could have driven 25 yards from the penalty spot 40 with 3 timeouts and a minute 3 with your mom as the qb behind that o line. Then, the very next season, I see Donovan Mcnabb seemingly fall apart on the last drive after he had played masterfully the entire game. Another amazing coincidence was that when the pats were 14 point dogs, they won the game, but when they were favored all three other superbowls the underdog teams covered the spread, or won the game (Giants). Now, spygate comes along, and Senator Arlen spector of Pennsylvania leads the charge, forgetting that his team the Stealers had just won superbowl xl, in the most blatently rigged game in superbowl history. One of 2 things happened, either the Bush white house told him to lay off thier favorite team, or Commishioner Goodell pointed out to him if he opened that can of worms, the stealers would lose thier rings too. Whatever the cause, it all got magically swept under the carpet, didn't it? | ||||
